This is just a Coop Cam. Unfortunately we don’t have drones following our chickens around as they free range across the field, but that’s not a bad idea. If all you see is an empty chicken coop, it just means they are out and about. The best times to see them are early morning or in the evening, but a few often come in around lunchtime for an easy snack.
Currently our flock is made up of Speckled Sussex and Black Laced Wyandotte hens who are overlooked by a Speckled Sussex rooster who goes by Sir Hammond (he was knighted earlier this year after fighting off a skunk).
